A Marker is a visual entry point to an annotation feature.

Working with Markers

The basic Marker is used to identify a point in 3d space with an icon and descriptive meta data. While in the Marker Tool you can Drag & Drop most common computer file types (i.e. a PDF file) onto the model as a custom marker. After publishing to the cloud these files can be opened in the browser or downloaded to the desktop.

Each marker contains the following attributes:

  • xyz position
  • Point normal vector
  • Title
  • Description
  • URL hyperlink

Excel Connectivity

You can export your markers to excel for reporting. Also, you may create or update your Markers using an Excel csv format file.
